Kolod's quality control covers raw materials, production, laboratory testing, finished products and batch traceability. Each product is checked against its grade and specification, with quality records maintained throughout production and shipment.
Quality Control & Traceability
Raw Materials → Production Batch → Sampling → Laboratory Testing → Result Review → Finished Product → Shipment
Raw materials are inspected before production. During manufacturing, each batch is monitored and recorded, with samples collected for laboratory testing. Finished products are tested against established specifications before release. Batch records link raw materials, production details, test results, and shipment information to support product traceability.
Laboratory Testing Process
Kolod's laboratory supports routine quality control, product testing and technical evaluation. Testing is carried out against the requirements of each product and grade.
Sampling and Sample Identification
Samples are collected from incoming materials, production stages and finished batches. Each sample is marked with the corresponding material or batch information, keeping the test result linked to the production record.
Sample Preparation
Samples are prepared using the relevant test method before analysis. Preparation includes weighing, dissolution, dilution, filtration or other required treatment.
Chemical and Physical Testing
The laboratory performs the tests specified for each product and grade. Common parameters include assay or purity, moisture or loss on drying, pH, ionic components, impurities, heavy metals and other chemical or physical properties.
Instrumental Analysis
Kolod's laboratory is equipped with ICP-OES, Ion Chromatography and Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry.
ICP-OES is used to analyze elemental composition and selected impurities. Ion Chromatography is used to measure ionic components. Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry is used for trace-element analysis and heavy-metal testing.
These instruments support routine chemical and physical testing and provide analytical data for product quality control.
Result Review and Release
Test results are checked against the product specification, recognized standard or customer-approved requirements. Results outside the specified limits are reviewed before batch release.
After all required testing and inspection results are confirmed, the finished batch is released and the test results are recorded with the corresponding batch information.
Product Specifications & COA
Each product is supplied to a defined specification for its grade and application. Product specifications reference Chinese national or industry standards, FCC or other recognized food-ingredient requirements, pharmaceutical or reagent requirements, or customer-approved specifications.
The Certificate of Analysis (COA) records the test results for the supplied batch. COAs include product-specific quality parameters such as assay or purity, moisture, pH, heavy metals, trace elements and ionic components.
Customers can provide their purchasing specifications during product qualification. Kolod reviews the required parameters and confirms the product grade, specification and testing requirements before regular supply.
Quality and Food Safety Certifications
Kolod's management systems and product-related qualifications include:
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, GMP, KOSHER, HALAL

Documentation for Supplier Qualification
Kolod provides the technical and quality documents required for product evaluation and supplier approval. The documentation package includes COA, SDS, Product Specification, TDS, applicable certificates, KOSHER or HALAL certificates, compliance documents and batch-related quality records.
Quality Issue Investigation
When a quality issue is reported, Kolod reviews the relevant product specification, batch number, laboratory results, production records and shipment information to identify the affected batch and investigate the issue.
If a nonconformity is confirmed, corrective action is taken through the applicable quality procedure. Batch and quality records provide the information required for investigation and follow-up.
Ongoing Quality Control
For repeat orders, the approved product specification is used to check subsequent batches. Batch-specific COAs and quality records support incoming inspection and product verification for each shipment.
This keeps product specifications, test results and quality documentation consistent throughout ongoing supply.
